After the primary stage your child will move on to secondary stage. The teacher will suggest the type of school to which your child should go with reference to his or her grades and behaviour at school. This will take account of the interest, application, independent learning and reliability demonstrated by the child in lessons.

If you don’t agree with the suggestion you can tell the teacher. The local school authority takes the decision. The parents can appeal against this decision.
