The government has launched the fide language learning scheme to promote the linguistic integration of people who speak a different language and who have migrated to Switzerland. This is geared to everyday life in Switzerland and tailored to the communication needs of immigrants. Language courses which meet the fide quality requirements are identified as such. There are also themed language-learning modules, which follow the fide principles.
