Support after the birth

Where can I get help in the early days after the birth?

In the first few days after the birth mothers need to recuperate physically and mentally. Mother and child receive medical care during these early days. The health fund basic insurance pays the costs of the examinations during pregnancy, birth and immediately after birth. The health insurance fund also covers certain ante-natal and breastfeeding advice costs.

Advice for mothers, fathers and parents is provided for the early days at home after the birth on subjects such as feeding, child development, or raising a child. Contact the authorities in the community where you live or the Grisons Mothers’ and Fathers’ Advice website for services available in your area. You can also ask questions over the phone or via an online form.
